BCSF, in collaboration with Savithri Devi Memorial Charitable Trust (SDMC), conducted a community-based Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) surveillance survey in the catchment area of a Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) in Bengaluru. The initiative focused on identifying the burden and risk factors for major NCDs, particularly diabetes and hypertension, and generating community-level evidence to support strengthening of NCD prevention, early detection, and management through primary healthcare.
